GPTengine ("we", "us", "our") is an AI prompt generator tool accessible at gptengine.app. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Service, including free users and paid subscribers.

We collect minimal information needed to operate the Service:

• Prompt inputs: The ideas you type into GPTengine are processed in your browser to generate prompts. We do not permanently store the text of your prompts on our servers. Inputs may be temporarily processed in memory during the generation step.
• Anonymous usage analytics: We may collect aggregated, anonymised analytics such as page views, session duration, and which features are used. This helps us improve the Service. No personally identifying information is captured.
• Technical data: Your browser may transmit standard technical information (browser type, screen size, approximate region) to our hosting provider. This is used for compatibility and security purposes.
• Payment information (paid users only): When you subscribe, payment is processed by PayPal. We receive a transaction confirmation and your subscription tier — we do not see or store your card details. PayPal's own Privacy Policy governs that data.
• Cookies: We use minimal essential cookies for site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Service.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions through PayPal.

• Hosting provider — to serve the website. Standard server logs may be retained for security purposes.

GPTengine does not send your prompt inputs to any third-party AI service. Prompts are generated client-side or via our own server logic; you copy the output and use it with whichever AI service you choose, under their terms.

Data Retention

Prompt inputs: Not stored after the session ends.

Subscription records: Retained as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance — typically 7 years after the subscription ends.

Analytics: Aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely in anonymised form.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.

Children's Privacy
