Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with GPTengine. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and what happens after.
Quick summary: 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Just contact us within 7 days of payment and we'll refund you in full — no questions asked.

GPTengine is completely free to use without an account. Generate as many prompts as you want, in both image and video modes, with all 20 styles and 12 moods available before deciding whether to subscribe. We strongly encourage you to try the free version thoroughly before purchasing.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All paid plans — Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime — are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 7 days of your initial payment date and we'll process a full refund.
No interrogation. No friction. Just send a refund request from the email associated with your PayPal payment, and we'll handle it.
Refund Eligibility By Plan
| Plan | Refund Window | Refund Type |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly ($5) | Within 7 days of any new charge | Full refund of the most recent monthly payment |
| Yearly ($45) | Within 7 days of initial purchase or renewal | Full refund of the annual payment |
| Lifetime ($100) | Within 7 days of initial purchase | Full refund of the one-time payment |
Refunds Outside the 7-Day Window
After 7 days, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Examples where we'll typically issue a refund:
- Service unavailable: If the Service has been unavailable for an extended period (more than 72 consecutive hours) within your billing cycle.
- Accidental double charge: If you've been charged twice for the same subscription period due to a billing error.
- Unauthorized charge: If you did not authorize the payment — please contact PayPal directly as well to dispute.
Examples where refunds will generally not be issued after the 7-day window:
- Forgetting to cancel a subscription before it renewed.
- Not using the Service during a paid period.
- Change of mind after the 7-day window has passed.
- Dissatisfaction with output produced by third-party AI services that you used the prompts with — GPTengine generates prompts, not images or videos.
Cancellation vs Refund
Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not refund past payments. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Requesting a refund reverses a specific payment and ends access immediately (or at the next billing cycle, depending on the case).
To cancel an auto-renewing subscription without requesting a refund, you can do so directly through your PayPal account at any time.
How to Request a Refund
- Contact us through the support channel listed at the bottom of this page.
- Include the PayPal email address used for the payment.
- Include the approximate date of the payment.
- Tell us briefly which plan you'd like refunded (we don't require detailed reasons for refunds within the 7-day window).
Most refund requests are processed within 3 business days. Once we issue the refund through PayPal, it typically takes an additional 3–10 business days for the funds to appear back in your account, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback through your bank or PayPal, we ask that you contact us first. We're a small operation, and chargebacks cost us additional fees on top of the refund. In almost all cases, we can resolve refund requests faster than the chargeback process — typically the same day.
Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to contact us may result in permanent suspension of your access to the Service.
Lifetime Plan — Special Notes
The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment for ongoing access to the Service for as long as it operates. The 7-day money-back guarantee fully applies. After that window:
- Refunds are not available solely because the buyer wishes to discontinue use.
- If the Service is permanently shut down within 12 months of your Lifetime purchase, we will refund a prorated portion of the payment.
- "Lifetime" refers to the operational life of the Service, not the buyer's lifetime. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any permanent shutdown.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the "Last updated" date. Past purchases remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of payment.
